The Mad Food Science™ Program as seen on Channel 7’s Sunrise!
I am am so grateful for the opportunity I had this morning to show The Root Cause Mad Food Science™ Program in action and to share how children are taking to the whacky experiments and getting the simple messages about healthy eating.
The Root Cause Mad Food Science™ is a fun and interactive education program that gets children to understand and take responsibility for the food they eat, and they have so much fun they go home and start talking to their parents about healthy food. There is a follow up parent workshop where I help parents with ideas on how to continue the conversations at home and work with their children to pack healthier lunch boxes.
The program really changes the conversation at home about healthy food from a parent-down message being enforced upon children to one where the conversations are initiated from the children ‘up’ to their parents.
