“My legs are a bit tired,” said our 5yo boy Rilien after almost 90 minutes of walking up and down 910 steps in the near-dark. We were pretty surprised actually, and had expected him to get tired and whingy earlier in the tour.
We were in the middle of the Jenolan Caves in NSW, specifically the Lucas Cave. We almost didn’t get in, because I failed to book online and the first tour (11:30am) was booked out already with coach tours. Fortunately, the friendly customer service guy managed to space on the 1:30pm tour, so we bought tour tickets and then wandered around a self-guided tour in the McKeown Valley and Carlotta Arch.
Rather than write a big, lengthy spiel about the tours, I wanted to change things up and give you a photo tour of the Jenolan Caves. I shot LOADS of pictures, and I’m really excited to share them with you. Here’s a few of my favourites, with the full gallery as a slideshow below. Enjoy!
