There have been many research studies done into lunch boxes in Australia. Some of the studies report that parents list keeping food fresh and food safety as barriers to packing healthy lunch boxes.
Having a good quality Insulated Lunch Bag is one way of helping to keep food fresh and safe.
Today, I share with you this product review of the So Young Insulated Lunch Bag. The bags you see in the photo above are the bags my children use. Not only are they super cute, but they are awesome lunch bags.
The So Young Insulated Lunch Bag is by far the best lunch bag I’ve come across in the last 4 years of packing school lunches.
Here’s what I love about these bags:
- they are super sweet and the kids love them too
- they are insulated all the way around, top to bottom
- the tray where the lunch box sits is actually removable, making it so easy to clean
- you can place an ice brick underneath the removable tray, keeping the lunch extra cold
- the handles and clips are all really sturdy and the perfect size for little hands
- the shoulder strap is adjustable so you can make it suitable for your child’s height and how they like to carry it
- the shoulder strap can be removed – my son likes his shoulder strap, my daughter doesn’t
- its got a fantastic back pocket. I use this to hold napkins, wet wipes in a ziplock bag, cutlery etc
- And I love the little label inside that says made with love for: {insert your child’s name}. Love notes in the lunch bag are important so I love that every day, the kids get a reminder that their lunch has been made with love.
You can order the super cute and awesome So Young Insulated Lunch Bag and a host of other equally sweet So Young bags from Mini Hippo.
