Kirsty Bear
Certified Instructor – The Mad Food Science Program
Kirsty Bear is a mother of two boys, a Nutrition Coach, a Mad Food Science Program Certified Instructor, lifestyle educator and an essential oils advocate. She aims to educate as many families as possible about real food, lifestyle choices and low tox living.
Kirsty became interested about health and wellness when she discovered certain foods were affecting her eldest son’s learning and behaviour. In addition, she has overcome her own health issues via nutrition and real food and changing lifestyle choices.
In 2015 Kirsty endeavoured to further her knowledge around food and nutrition where she completed an Adv. Dip. of Nutritional Medicine through the Australasian College of Natural Therapies in 2018. Now a member of the Complementary
Medicine Association (CMA) and also a very proud and honoured Certified Instructor for the Mad Food Science Program.
In her spare time she loves spending time outdoors gardening or fishing and camping with the boys.
Favourite Recipe
Tacos is a favourite in our household, but the seasoning sachets are loaded with some nasty additives and preservatives. That's why I make my own seasoning from a recipe I found in The Root Cause's 5-min Healthy Lunchbox System. It tastes better and is easy to make. I also use gluten free shells that only have 3 ingredients and the kids and hubby don't even notice the difference!
Availability
I am available for the Mad Food Science Program from Monday to Wednesday during QLD school terms, and can negotiate Thursday and Friday if needed.
I'm also available for Skype/Zoom consultations, workshops, community events and vacation care programs. Please contact me personally for more information.
