Rachel Wing
Certified Instructor – The Mad Food Science Program
Rachel is a primary school teacher who has worked with young children for nearly 30 years in schools across North Queensland, the UK and PNG. Understanding the
importance of the whole child, Rachel has moved into the field of wellbeing in
schools, focusing on parenting, play, movement, meditation, gratitude, and healthy
eating.
She believes many of the increasing emotional and learning problems children experience at school can be improved through a whole-body approach including specialised exercises, nutrition, and diet.
Hoping to be a change leader for better eating, she became a Certified Instructor for The Root Cause. Rachel has also trained in integrating primitive reflexes (ILS & SLD) and the Move To Learn program. She holds a Bachelor of Education from James Cook University Townsville and a Yoga Instructor Certification from the Byron Yoga Centre.
Rachel loves being a mother of 3 teenagers. She also enjoys finding time for CrossFit, yoga, gardening, cooking, coffee catch ups and her husband.
