This smoothie is a great way to get vegetables into your kids day without them feeling like they’re eating them. It can be prepared ahead, frozen, it’s refined sugar free and also gluten free. You can call this Hulk Juice, Shrek Smoothie, Booga Smoothie, or just plain simple green smoothie. For Halloween, we’re calling it Green Goblin Juice. REMEMBER – talk to your kids about how our eyes are for seeing, nose for smelling, tongue for tasting.
Make the night before and you’ll have a yummy nutritious breakfast to go in the morning. You can also freeze them to put in the lunchbox. They will defrost by recess.
