This is hilarious
WARNING! This video contains a lot of swearing, but it's hilarious at first because it's so relatable. Yes, I have lived this life too. Click the image or here to play the video of the reel.

Did you relate to that? If so, know you are not alone. There's rarely a week that goes by that I do not have a conversation with a mum who is tired, overwhelmed and frustrated with finding feeding her family. What worse is that she feels guilty because she know food is foundational, yet she is just so over all the stress of dinner times.
I remember those days all too well - I loathed dinner time. I was cooking multiple meals. I had a beige eater. A toddler. A depressed husband, and was learning to go gluten free.
It's why every conversation I have with a mum, I can feel her pain. It's also why I am so passionate about helping get you out of the pain.
I stand for children's health. Empowering children to understand about food helps makes a mums job easier - that's why I love the work we do in schools.
But, empowered kids aren't enough when your tank is empty and you don't enjoy feeding your family. No matter how empowered they are, if you are stressed about dinner and don't have the energy or desire to pull together nourishing meals, then it makes standing for their health difficult. No judgement. That's just the reality of this pace of life.
This is why I've decided to run my hugely impactful Easy, Stress Free Dinners Masterclass one last time this year. I've made 2 different spots available - a lunchtime or an evening time - so that you can choose the best time slot for you.

6 Meal Ideas for you
I'm always getting asked for more meal ideas and am often asked what I feed my family, so I thought I would share what my family ate last week.
I keep food pretty simple so I don't have to think about it.
Here's a few little rituals I have that help keep it simple:
- Every meal either has salad or minimum 3 different veg.
- I usually prepare a big tub of mixed salad leaves on Sunday so 70% of my salad is ready to go on the nights I have salad.
- My veg are all washed and ready to be prepped on the night.
- I do a rough plan every Saturday of what main dish there will be for each night of the week. I don't always stick to the plan, but it's a guide for me and the family (Israel and the kids also cook meals now).
You'll also note that I always serve our meals in the middle of the table. This way the family have ownership of choosing what they want to eat and how much they want to eat from what's on offer.
This week we had:
- Saturday night - Homemade Vegetarian Sausage Rolls - recipe here.
- Sunday night - Roast Lamb
- Monday night - Leftover lamb and roast vegetables turned into a pie topped with mashed sweet potato. I used the leftover roast gravy, some dijon mustard and homemade mint sauce to make the pies gravy.
- Tuesday night - Taco Tuesday - taco seasoning mix recipe here.
- Wednesday night - Slow cook beef and bean casserole. I used passatta, dijon mustard, mixed herbs, Worcestershire sauce, 1 cup broth as the seasonings.
- Thursday night - Crumbed chicken and fried rice - fried rice recipe here.
Most nights dinner leftovers became lunchbox food.
I hope this gives you some more ideas.
