The 9th October is a pretty special day in our household.
On 9th October we celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. In case you didn't guess, that's a picture of us on our wedding day.
And today, we also celebrate 7 years since we set off on our trip around Australia on our mission to transform children's health. This is a pic of us with our big green gal - Kaley - at our launch party at Kensington Public School in Sydney.
At this time each year, I love to reflect on what we have achieved as a couple and in business. We have lived a very full life together, and I know there's still lots more to come. I'm not saying it's all been sunshine, rainbows and unicorns, but I'm grateful for every high and low we've had.
I previously shared with you that I was pitching to Murrumbidgee Public Health Network for $25,000 of funding to run our Children's Health Program for 1000 students, their families and schools in the Murrumbidgee region. I am beyond excited to let you know that we were successful in our Pitch.
Not only did we win that pitch, but we also received confirmation from Darling Downs and West Moreton Public Health Network that they will fund us to run The Children's Health Program in another 20 schools in their region in 2023.
PLUS, Queensland Health & Wellbeing have confirmed they will recognise our program alongside other providers like Life Education.
I am so damn proud because The Children's Health Program is now being recognised as a prevention program.
