SHANA GREEN
Certified Instructor
Having worked in aged care sector for 10 years and an Enrolled Nurse for 5, Shana is a nurturer by nature. As a mum herself, she 100% understands the frustrations of parents when it comes to children being fussy when it comes to eating fruits and vegetables. Shana uses leisure and health certifications, and her nurturing nature to lovingly support parents to stand for their children's health, in the face of their kids being fussy.
Shana is a lover of art, knowing it has strong links to health and wellbeing. She likes to use art as a conduit to help people learn about the connection between food and their body. Shana says "art has a way of putting people at ease and opening their mind to the possibility that the problems they are facing feeding their family, can changed with simple, small tweaks."
Shana works with local businesses, libraries and schools, helping them to empower children to make better food choices. She helps educate schools and families on the importance of our health and how we can look after our one body for life everyday. She holds community events in school holidays to get kids involved and discussing how different foods help our bodies. Shana runs local art classes and monthly mental health awareness parents groups.
Favourite Recipe
Shana's favourite recipe is Create Bake Make's Mac n Cheese. It's loaded with hidden veg. Shana does believe in empowering kids to know what veggies are in their food, but she also just particularly loves this recipe.
