Certified Instructor – The Mad Food Science Incursion
Healthy eating can be daunting and overwhelming. Many of us want to live a healthier life but we simply don't know where to start.
Enter Suzanne Burke who'll show you that choosing real food doesn't have to be complicated or expensive!
Suzanne is a passionate educator, change agent and all round ‘foodie’. She joined the Root Cause in 2021 to share the lack of transparency in the food we eat and the effect processed food is having on our children’s behaviour in classrooms, every day across Australia.
Suzanne now helps local communities, schools, children, parents and teachers to implement simple changes to improve their food choices to make themselves and the planet a little healthier.
Suzanne has a wealth of knowledge working with corporates to improve the health and wellbeing of their employees and holds an Advanced Certificate in Nutrition Science from the Australian College of Natural Therapies, Sydney.
As a mum of two energetic boys, Suzanne wants them to grow up sharing her joy of food. She is a living, breathing example of the power of introducing a passion for food with your kids, by cooking with them when they’re young. Enjoying the great outdoors, yoga and feeling energised, Suzanne loves talking about food, sharing recipes and encouraging others to be better versions of themselves.
Too many favourites to choose only one! I love a tasty fish taco with crunchy salad, pineapple salsa and chipotle mayo or a yummy chocolate, raspberry brownie.
Suzanne is available to deliver The Mad Food Science Incursion and The Children’s Health Program at schools during NSW school terms on Thursdays and Fridays, others days available on request. Plus parent/teacher education sessions, community and corporate events.
