We are so very fortunate and grateful to have Worldwide Printing Solutions are our National Partner for our Australian Tour to Transform Children’s Health, One Lunchbox At A Time.
Israel and I recently had the opportunity to attend their National Conference in Tasmania and meet all the wonderful Franchisees and the team at Head Office who support our mission.
On the final night of the conference was an awards dinner recognising the hard work of the franchisees. What we did not expect and totally blew us away was that the Franchisees, Partners and Supporters at the event presented us with a whopping cheque for $10,000 – and another $500 was raised after this photo was taken!

You can probably tell from this photo I was shocked, overwhelmed and moved to tears.
This incredible group of people have just donated enough to put 750 children through The Mad Food Science Program™!
We are so grateful, and want to acknowledge them on behalf of the children and families of Australia whose lives will be impacted by their generosity and support.
Let me share with you just some of the other ways Worldwide Printing Solutions supports The Root Cause:
- designed and printed wonderful aprons and tablecloths which takes our message to a whole new level. It adds to our level of professionalism.
- printed our postcard sized business cards. We use these to raise awareness of our mission and give them to owners of produce stores with the aim of getting a special price on the produce we use for our classes.
- printed handouts for every student who participates in The Mad Food Science Program™. We know from the feedback we get from parents, that these handouts are generating conversations at home between children and parents.
Now this amazing financial support will allow us to 750 children to participate in The Mad Food Science Program™ at no cost to them.
I should also make a very special mention of Konica Minolta and Fuji Xerox for their contribution to this donation too. These companies are partners and supporters of Worldwide Printing Solutions and attended the conference. And each of them donated $1,000 towards the overall donation. In addition, Konica Minolta also gave up one of their presentation spots so I could share more about our mission with the franchisees. I shared with them about how our food supply is vastly different from when we all grew up, why it’s important to get back to eating real food, and about the amount of sugar and additives and preservatives there are in many of the processed packaged foods going into lunchboxes.
It’s now almost 2 weeks later and we are still as shocked and delighted by this donation and what it means to our mission.
